UNDATED (AP) -- The BBC has renewed “Doctor Who” for an eighth season. New episodes start airing next year. The BBC also plans to air a movie about the history of “Doctor Who” later this year. The show’s 50th anniversary will be celebrated November 23 with a 3D special featuring current and former stars of the show.
