LOS ANGELES (AP) -- "The Hunger Games" has captured the top spot at the box office this past weekend. The film took in $155 million during its opening weekend -- and in the process has grabbed a spot near the top of the domestic record book. The first-week take is number-three for revenue, behind only last year's "Harry Potter" finale and the 2008 opening of Batman sequel "The Dark Knight." Hunger Games stands alone because it sets a revenue record for a non-sequel movie. It took in more than twice what the first "Twilight" movie did when that franchise film made its debut. Number two on the weekend list is "21 Jump Street," followed by "Dr. Seuss' the Lorax."
