THE FRAY RESPOND TO ANTHEM CONTROVERSY

UNDATED (AP) -- The Fray are comparing their rendition of the national anthem to peanut butter. They have been blasted for their version of the anthem before the NCAA men's basketball championship Monday. Guitarist Dave Walsh tweeted, "Upon thinking about it, doing the National Anthem is a bit like choosing between Jif and Skippy. You just can't please everyone." The Fray played the anthem on acoustic guitars, tambourine and a Revolutionary War-style marching drum.
