Willie Nelson pens new memoir for release in November

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- Snoop Dogg says when he first met Willie Nelson the country singer "understood who I was." Snoop says their friendship drove him to try country music and the rapper calls country "a form of hip-hop music." For Nelson, the feeling is mutual. He says he just likes the guy personally, and while Nelson's not a big fan of rap, he thinks Snoop's music is great. Nelson says they also like to "smoke a little dope now and then." Snoop is the only artist on Nelson's "Heroes" album who's not connected to country music.
