SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Comedian George Lopez says he has no desire to return to the late-night talk show scene amid the latest rumors of a “Tonight” show shakeup.

Word leaked last week that “Late Night” host Jimmy Fallon will unseat Jay Leno as the new host of NBC’s “Tonight.” NBC has not confirmed the change.

Lopez lost his late-night gig on TBS in August 2011 when viewership dropped after he moved his show back an hour to make room for Conan O’Brien.

Lopez says he had a great two-year run on TBS. He says he has no regrets and made some great friends and saw some great musicians.  But he also says hosting a show every night can be one of the toughest jobs in television.
