KMOV.com's Zach Dalin recently sat down with two of St. Louis' hip hop artists, Ryan Escobar and Tenelle Donta, of Souls of Liberty.

Souls of Liberty headlined a night of music at 2720 Cherokee Performing Arts Center on Friday night. They performed songs from their latest album, 10,000 Hours, in addition to some older fan favorites.

Graduates of top-ranked Metro High School, Ryan and Tenelle began creating music together at a young age and expanded their career as they attended the University of Missouri.

In their single, “Future Millionaires”, Ryan raps that he “graduated with honors” and “took it from the Lou to New York” where Souls of Liberty performed with top recording artist Wale.

The Souls have combined their strong intellect with precision rhythm to gain thousands of fans across the Midwest and set their sights on even larger goals. Download their latest album for free here.
