Congrats flood in for Shakira's new baby boy

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- NBC is counting on Jennifer Hudson, Usher and Shakira to give the rest of its lineup a much-needed boost. Hudson will appear as a guest on "Smash" early next year. The date of her appearance is February 5. And the following month, Usher and Shakira will become the new judges on "The Voice." The network announced over the summer the two singers will take over for two of the current judges on the show -- so those judges can work on their music careers. Among the additions for the midseason schedule are "Community" as well as "1600 Penn" -- a sitcom set at the White House.
