CREED BRATTON SAYS HE’S NOT “THAT GUY”

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Creed Bratton says he isn’t “THAT” Creed Bratton. That is, the one you see on “The Office,” which ends its run on NBC tonight. He says it bugs him when people run into him on the street and assume he’s really the creepy old dude he portrays on the show. He jokingly says it especially irks him when parents pull their young’uns away from him. Bratton plays a washed up old rock star on the show—not much of a stretch, except for the washed-out part. He was the guitarist on the Grass Roots—and says he still keeps his hand in the music business. As for tonight’s finale—he doesn’t want to give anything away, but says it will be a satisfying ending and that it will be one of the best ever.
