Bradley Cooper showed support for one of the survivors of the Boston Marathon bombing with a hospital visit on Thursday.

The 38-year-old actor, who has been in the Boston area shooting the film "American Hustle," stopped by Boston Medical Center to meet Jeffrey Bauman Jr. as he recovered from surgery. Both of Bauman's legs were amputated below the knee earlier this week following the blast.

Cooper was joined at Bauman's bedside by NFL wide receiver Julian Edelman, 26, of the New England Patriots.

Bauman, 27 was watching his girlfriend run the marathon and was at the finish line when the bombs hit. He's seen in leaving the scene in a wheelchair alongside first responder Carlos Arredondo in one of the photos taken shortly after the attack.

Cooper has been in the Boston region filming "American Hustle," which also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, Christian Bale and Robert De Niro.
