HOUSTON -- A 22-year-old man is dead after a shooting at the filming of a rap music video early Sunday morning in north Harris County, deputies said.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said around 1:20 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 11300 block of Grayling Lane.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered the shooting occurred as several people were making a rap music video at a home. Witnesses said a fight broke out in the street and the victim, Tyrell Young, was shot.
Bystanders put Young in a car and took him to Willowbrook Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
On Sunday night, friends and family members held a candlelight vigil for the aspiring rapper.
