(KMOV) – WestJet Airlines made Christmas extra special for 250 lucky passengers who recently flew to Calgary.

The Canada-based airlines got 150 staff together to help out with a “Christmas Miracle” video that has since gone viral.

As part of the video, passengers in Toronto and Hamilton were asked at the gate by virtual kiosks what they wanted for Christmas.

After the passengers boarded their planes, the WestJet staff got to work, buying and wrapping gifts that were requested.

When the passengers arrived in Calgary and went to get their checked bags off the carousel, they instead found big blue boxes with their names on the front and the gifts they asked for.

WestJet VP of Communications Richard Bartrem said the airlines will donate flights to the Ronald McDonals charities if the video surpassed 200,000 views on YouTube. The video has already gotten more than 1 million views.
