Fair St. Louis: July 4, 2008

The following street closures will be in effect for Fair St. Louis:

●Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on July 3 thru 6:00 a.m. July 6 the Northbound Memorial Drive exit ramp off Highway 70 from Poplar

Street Bridge and the exit ramp off Highway 55/70 on to Northbound Memorial Drive to Washington Avenue (including ramps onto

Westbound 70). The Southbound Memorial Drive exit from Washington Avenue to Spruce will also be closed July 4 6:00 a.m. thru

July 6, 6:00 a.m. (including the ramp onto Eastbound Highway 70 over the Poplar Street Bridge).

●Also, Spruce and Walnut from Broadway to North Bound Memorial Drive along with Market, Chestnut & Pine from 4th Street to

North Bound Memorial.

●Starting 9:00 a.m. July 2 thru 6:00 a.m. July 6 Street closures include-First, Second, and Third streets from Poplar to Chouteau;

and Chouteau from Broadway to Lenore K. Sullivan (Wharf Street at the flood wall).

●Market Street from Tucker to 15th Street will be closed as follows: Friday, July 4, 1:30 p.m. to Midnight and Saturday, July 5, 5:00

p.m. to Midnight.

●Chestnut from Tucker to 13th will be closed from June 27 thru July 6.

Annual Veiled Prophet Parade: Friday, July 4 at 9:00 a.m.

The following streets will be closed: Cole between Tucker and Broadway; Broadway between Cole and Market; Convention Plaza to

Broadway; 6th Street north and south of Washington; and Washington east of 7th. The band will assemble on Chestnut and Washington

from 7th Street to 4th Street beginning at 7:00 a.m. In the morning there will be various street closures around the northern edge of

Downtown. Most streets leading to Market, along the parade route, will be closed.

Live OFF the Levee: July 11, 2008

Live off the Levee will take place at the area surrounding Soldiers’ Memorial. The following street closures will be in effect from

Thursday, July 10 at 6:00 a.m. thru Sunday, July 13 at 3:00 p.m: The west curb lane of Tucker from Pine to Market; Chestnut and Pine

will be closed from Tucker through 15th and 15th from Market to Olive.
