Lifers who have been paroled

So far this year, the Missouri Parole Board has released 37 inmates who were serving life sentences. Fifteen of them committed their crimes in the City of St. Louis. The offenders include murderers and rapists. Here's the complete list:

Walter C. Patrick was sentenced to 4 life terms for robbery and assault. He served 48 years in prison. Patrick was released from prison on March 16. He is assigned to a parole officer in Jennings.

Charles Watson was sentenced to life in prison for first degree murder. He served 41 years in prison. Watson was released on January 30. He is assigned to a St. Louis parole officer.

Howard Hulstin was sentenced to life in prison for first degree murder. He served 22 years in prison. Hulstin was released on November 6. He is assigned to a St. Louis parole officer.

Major Lang was sentenced to life in prison for first degree murder. He served 26 years in prison. Lang was released on July 15. He's assigned to a St. Louis parole officer. 

Charles Tate was sentenced to life in prison for first degree murder. He served 34 years in prison. He was released on May 11. There is no current information available for him on the Missouri Department of Corrections online database. 

Steven Lane was sentenced to life in prison for first degree murder. He served 22 years in prison. Lane was released on August 25. He's assigned to a Jennings parole officer. 

Ronald Brown was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder. He served 27 years in prison. Brown was released on March 4. He's assigned to a St. Louis parole officer.

Michael Ford was sentenced to life in prison for capital murder. He served 31 years in prison. Ford was released on July 1. He's assigned to a parole officer in Union. 

James Guice was sentenced to 10 life terms for 10 counts of robbery and armed criminal action. He served 22 years in prison. Guice was released on July 23. He's assigned to a St. Louis parole officer.

John Sprous was sentenced to 4 life terms for robbery and assault. He served 28 years in prison. Sprous was released on February 5. He was assigned to a Jefferson City parole officer.

Otis Thompson was sentenced to life in prison for robbery. He served 30 years in prison. Thompson was released on September 18. There is no current information available for him on the MDOC database.

Roscoe Harry was sentenced to 2 life terms for robbery and armed criminal action. He served 22 years in prison. Harry was paroled on February 6. He's assigned to a St. Louis parole officer.

Herbert Harris was sentenced to life in prison for raping an 81 year old woman. Harris pistol whipped and raped her, then burned her with matches after the assault. He served 28 years in prison. Harris was released on November 6. He's assigned to a St. Louis parole officer.

Robert Childers was sentenced to life in prison for assault. He served 20 years in prison. Childers was paroled on November 20. No current information for him on the MDOC database.

Robert Ford was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder. He served 28 years in prison. Ford was released on February 10. There is no current information for him on the MDOC database.

Lana Anderson, the only female lifer released so far this year, was sentenced to life without parole, but she was eligible for parole because of special circumstances. She served 21 years in prison. Anderson was released on September 16. She's assigned to a St. Charles parole officer.

James Cooley was sentenced to life in prison for first degree murder. He served 25 years in prison. Cooley was paroled on February 10. He's assigned to a Jefferson City parole officer.

William Adams was sentenced to two life terms in prison. The charges were forcible rape and sodomy, and kidnapping. Adams served 25 years in prison. He was released on September 29. He's assigned to a Charleston parole officer.

Raymond Graham was sentenced to two life terms in prison for assault and armed criminal action. He served 22 years in prison. Graham was paroled on October 30. He's assigned to a Jefferson City parole officer.

Orlando Mahone was sentenced to life in prison for murder. He served 25 years in prison. Mahone was paroled on May 21. He's assigned to a St. Louis parole officer.

Ricky Garrett was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder. He served 24 years in prison. Garrett was paroled on March 18. He's assigned to a Lexington parole officer.

James Cole was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder. He served 24 years in prison. Cole was released on July 6. He's assigned to a Jefferson City parole officer.

Michael Phillips was sentenced to two life terms in prison for first degree murder and robbery. He served 24 years in prison. Phillips was paroled on August 14. He's assigned to a Jefferson City parole officer.

Macy Jones was sentenced to two life terms in prison for first degree murder and second degree murder. He served 24 years in prison. Jones was released on September 29. He's assigned to a Kansas City parole officer.

Freddie Mack was sentenced to two life terms for assault. He served 23 years in prison. Mack was released on July 9. He's assigned to a Jennings parole officer.

James Wilson was sentenced to life in prison for kidnapping. He served 23 years in prison. Wilson was paroled on July 7. No current information is available for him on the MDOC database. 

Phillip Oldham was sentenced to life in prison for robbery. He served 22 years in prison. Oldham was released on January 26. He's assigned to a St. Louis parole officer.

Michael Hunter was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder. He served 22 years in prison. Hunter was paroled on May 5. He's assigned to a St. Louis parole officer.  

Hal Taylor was sentenced to life in prison for assault. He served 21 years in prison. Taylor was paroled on January 2. He's assigned to a Kansas City parole officer.

David Hight was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder. He served 21 years in prison. Hight was released on March 17. He's assigned to a Neosho parole officer.

David Clay was sentenced to life in prison for armed criminal action. He served 22 years in prison. Clay was released on November 4. There's no current information for him on the MDOC database.

David Cantrell was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder. He served 21 years in prison. Cantrell was paroled on October 9. He's assigned to a St. Louis parole officer.

Michael Armstrong was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder. He served 21 years in prison. Armstrong was paroled on April 8. He's assigned to a Jefferson City parole officer.

James Bartels was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder. He served 19 years in prison. Bartels was paroled on December 4. He's assigned to a parole officer in Liberty.

Richard Horton was sentenced to life in prison for second degree murder. He served 19 years in prison. Horton was released on April 24. He's assigned to a St. Charles parole officer.

Wayne O'Brien was sentenced to life in prison for robbery. He served 18 years in prison. O'Brien was released on December 3. There's no current information on him in the MDOC database.

Jason Washington was sentenced to life in prison for robbery. He served 16 years in prison. Washington was released on June 9. There's no current information about him on the MDOC database.

All parolees who were sentenced to life in prison will be on parole for the rest of their lives.
