Washington Park Police arrested four men on Saturday for burglary. While how they got in, a window, is traditional, it’s what they did after the police were called that’s interesting. Police tell News Four that they found the men hiding in the attic of the home they’d attempted to steal from. Chief Detective Kim MacAfee says the suspects had some of the items they wanted to take, TV and DVD player stacked near the door; but never got that far because the police were on the scene too quickly. MacAfee says when his officers initially walked through the property they didn’t see anyone, but upon further inspection they noticed an attic door, opened it and found their suspects. Currently, the three adult suspects were charged today are currently in the Washington Park jail, the fourth, a juvenile, is has not yet been charged.
