Wentzville Superintendent Dr. Terry Adams receives a salary of $207,000, plus benefits, according to his three year contract. He receives insurance benefits comparable to other certified employees. Dr. Adams is entitled to 12 days of temporary leave every year and can accumulate up to 240 days. He also receives a monthly auto allowance of $500.

Wentzville is one of the fastest growing large districts in the region. In fiscal year 2007 the district has enrollment of 10,317. The district projects enrollment is projected to be 13,526 in fiscal 2011, a 31% increase. Despite the dramatic growth of the district, it has still maintained above average ACT composite test scores.
