Rockwood Superintendent Dr. Bruce Borchers runs one of the best districts in the state and he's also one of the highest paid public school executives. According to his contract, Borchers is paid a salary of $230,000, plus benefits. The district agreed to pay him up to $15,000 to move from Minnesota. The superintendent gets $8,000 a year foran auto allowance. We copied the contract of Borchers and his predecessor Dr. Larson so that you must look at both links front and back. I apologize.

Rockwood is a very large district with 29 schools and an enrollment of 22,318. Rockwood's average composite ACT score is 24.3 about three points above the national average.
