Pontiac-Holliday superintendent Michael Loftus received a salary of $108,000 in 2008-09, and raises like the rest of his administrators after that, according to his contract. The biggest benefit for Loftus is 100% hospitalization, health care and dental coverage for his entire family. In addition to 12 annual sick days, Loftus received a bank of 36 sick days to be used during his first two years. Loftus's compensation is comparable to many other superintendents in similar size districts in the metro-east.
