The compensation report for the High Mount school district in Swansea, Illinois is easy to find on the district website. It shows Superintendent Mike Brink receives a salary of $86,500, plus $23,274 in benefits, making him one of the lowest paid Superintendents in the region. However, you could easily question why the tiny district needs a full-time Superintendent making that much money. High Mount has one school with only about 450 students in K-8.
