Morton’s Hosts Riedel Tasting Event to Benefit Make-A-Wish
. 6pm at Morton’s-7822 Bonhomme Ave., $90. Guests will learn how the proper glass can improve the taste of wine. The tasting will feature the Riedel “Vinum” series wine glasses filled with wines from Chateau Ste. Michelle paired with Morton’s signature hors d’oeuvres Guests will also enjoy a special parting gift, a four piece Riedel Vinum wine glass set valued at $116. FREE concert in Faust Park
. Park opens at 5 p.m. with pre-concert entertainment for children. Affordable concessions are available. Seating is comfortable and informal and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. The X-Jazz and Swing Band to perform.

St. Louis Magazine's A-List Party
. 7:30 - 11:00 p.m.St. Louis Magazine will celebrate the winners of the 2010 A-List, as featured in the July issue. Sip on cocktails, Savor tasty cuisine from the city’s best restaurants and be seen in this glamorous crowd of local celebrities and partygoers as you mix, mingle, and dance under the star-filled sky to the beats of our city’s best DJ and live band. Celebrate St. Louis Summer Concerts. At Soldiers Memorial (streets will be blocked from Tucker to 14th and from Market to Pine). Local opening band, Jeremiah Johnson & the Sliders, will begin at 6 p.m. Kenny Wayne Shepherd will take the Budweiser Main Stage stage at 8 p.m.
Pick Your Flick At The St. Louis Art Museum
. Bring a blanket to Art Hill for this free outdoor film series. 9 p.m. The Bandwagon
Third Friday at Third Degree Glass Factory. See glowing honey-like glass become glorious art. Experience opera in a mini-sneak peek preview with Pirates of Penzance by Union Avenue Opera performers. Soulard Market Park Fair. Right outside the Soulard Farmers Market from 9a.m. – 3p.m. Featuring 80 local independent artists and crafters selling unique, modern handmade wares
Lafayette Summer Concert Series. 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. in Lafayette Park - 2101 Park Ave. Enjoy the melodic tunes of jazz and blues artists all summer long at the Lafayette Summer Concert Series. Every other Saturday for the entire summer St. Louis' best will be performing for you listening pleasure. Free.
Tower Grove Movie Nights. 8:30 p.m.- Whitaker Theater 4256 Magnolia Ave. Raiders of the Lost Ark. Grab a blanket or bring a chair, pack a picnic or cooler and meet at Tower Grove Park. The movies are free and begin around dusk.
