Circus Flora invites young professionals to join in the magic of Circus on Thursday, June 10th. Guests will be invited to happy hour at Kota Wood Fire Grill at 5:30 p.m. for pre-performance cocktail and appetizer specials. We will parade to the big top around 6:00 p.m. for the 7:00 p.m. show. Young professionals receive 20% off regular ticket prices when they use the code CFLYP.
All proceeds benefit Circus Flora, whose mission is to broaden and deepen the appreciation of the performing arts in the greater St. Louis community by producing and presenting innovative performances and educational programs through the use of classic circus skills.
In its 24th season, Circus Flora, St. Louis’ beloved one-ring, European-style circus will present Ingenioso, inspired by the impossible dream of Don Quixote. The show premieres June 3 and runs through June 27. The always affordable circus takes place under the air-conditioned, red-and-white, big top tent in Grand Center, St. Louis’ arts and entertainment hub, adjacent to Powell Symphony Hall (corner of Grand Boulevard and Samuel Shepard Drive).
With a sizzling Spanish flair and a variety of classic circus acts including galloping conquistadors, hilarious farmyard animals, classic equestrian ballet, breathtaking aerial acts and an awe-inspiring low-wire walker, the world-renowned Circus Flora ensemble brings this memorable tale of misadventure to life. Before our eyes, the ordinary will become the extraordinary, and heroes will emerge as gentle, triumphant clowns persuading others to see the glory of the world as they do.
Circus Flora is a theater company specializing in one-ring circus production, based on the focused energy of traditional circus arts, and showcasing the working partnership of humans and animals.
