When I first came to St. Louis I searched for some type of calendar that highlighted the type of events that I would be interested in attending. I wanted to find fun and exciting events that appeal to a sophisticated, outgoing, young (and young at heart) professional crowd. 
While there are some sites out there, I didn't find any that were the one-stop shop I was really looking for.
I already research these things for myself and keep my own calendar, so why not share it with others who are looking for the same thing?
On Mondays, I will post an article listing all my top event picks for that week. I'll attend and write about some of the events on my calendar too. But there's a lot more. On Wednesdays I'll highlight one of the many young professional organizations here in St. Louis that you can get involved with. What a great way to meet like minded individuals, have fun and give back at the same time! And sometimes, I'll just blog about something fun I found to do here in St. Louis.
