As the remnants of Ike have moved across the area this morning, we have received many reports of flooding. Most locations have picked up 3-7 inches of rain in a very short amount of time which has caused creeks and streams to pour out of their banks. There are numerous reports of road closures as well as some evacuations. For a list of storm reports click here

Lastly, gusty winds with Ike's remnants have brought down large limbs in some locations. A Wind Advisory is in effect through the afternoon with wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph possible.
The rain is moving rapidly northeast and will move out of the area by noon.
