(KMOV.com) – The St. Clair County HazMat crew responded to Dupo High School after a chemical spill occurred in a science room. Fire officials say the teacher was cleaning a room when a container containing 12 ounces of potassium cyanide broke. The chemical has the potential to be very dangerous if it mixes with acid and becomes a liquid. No one was hurt during the incident. A two-block radius was established around the school.
