RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
• Develop, service, and grow revenues from New Business Accounts.
• Sell TV spot availabilities, programs and facilites to agency representatives and directly to clients.
• Utilize One Domain, and Scarborough materials for research presentations
• Develop business for kmov.com.
• Coordinate activities with local sales manager
• Conceive, develop, prepare and present sales and research materials to clients
• Originate and maintain sales contracts, sales records (late runs, makegoods, etc.) and correspondence with accounts
• Ensure orders are scheduled properly
• Follow up on credit applications, billing discrepancies and accounts receivable
• Obtain necessary commercial material and scheduling instructions; provide same to traffic department
• Maintain files and records on costs, inventory, policy, competitive information, trade publicity and industry information
• Develop new direct and vendor business
• Achieve and exceed individual revenue plan for new business, locally produced shows and kmov.com.
• Sell sponsorships and product placement in locally produced shows.
• Web responsibilities include web site ad management, client calls, and proposal preparation and presentation to
a diverse customer base of direct clients. Understanding of web marketing, internet commerce, rich media, campaign
delivery, and the ability to utilize a variety of web platforms are considered a plus.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• College degree
• One to 3 years TV, cable, radio internet or print sales experience preferred

• Direct sales
• Electronic media sales preferred
• Proficient with basic computer skills. (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Basic Internet knowledge and experience a plus

Job Description:
This full time position is responsible for generating new and different creative approaches for
promotion spots to meet the Station’s goals and objectives and executing approved concepts through the complete
production process.
Responsibilities/Duties
Writes, produces and edits station promotion to build ratings through flow and tune-in. Writes script for promotion on radio,
television, and cable. Executes all phases of pre- and post-production of such promos including art direction and editing on
non-linear editing systems. Areas of concentration include news, sports, and weather. Help, as needed, in all the operating
details for the department's activities. Ability to interact positively and productively with fellow employees.
Job Specifications
Bachelors in Mass Communications or Journalism with minimum four years experience in broadcast journalism and television
station production. High level of expertise in non-linear editing is required. Verbal communication skills necessary, especially
the ability to communicate with the applicable television audience. Experience in writing for the promotion of news and programming.
Natural ability to think creatively while maintaining composure under stress. Experience with newsroom computer systems preferred.

Job Description:
KMOV-TV has a continuing opening for the position
of Broadcast Assistant. Some Knowledge of Broadcast news is preferred. Duties
include, but are not limited to, assisting producers and production assistants
in the various aspects of newscast preparation and operating the teleprompter
for those newscasts.
The Broadcast Assistant position is a temporary
26-week position and is offered on a rotating basis. Applicants must be flexible
as hours can include early mornings, afternoons and/or weekends.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to enter the broadcast field
